linear eqution in two variable solution by graphical method

Q-1. Solve each of the following of equation graphically
(i) 2x+3y = 2
(ii) x-2y = 8

Solution-: 2x+3y = 2  ...(i)
⇒ 2x = 2-3y
⇒ x = (2-3y)/2
Equation 2x+3y =2 ke liye table:
A
B
C
X
1
4
7
Y
0
-2
-4
And x-2y = 8   ...(ii)
⇒ x = 8+2y
Equation x-2y = 8 ke liye table:
D
E
F
X
2
4
6
Y
-3
-2
-1

Ab hum inn dono table ki value se graph banate hai.
linear eqution in two variable

Graph banane par hum dekhte hai ki dono eq(i) and eq(ii) ki line ek dusre ko point P(4,-2) par katata hai.
Isliye yehi point P(4,-2) dono equation ka solution hai.
So x = 4 and y = -2

Q-2. 3x+2y = 4
        2x - 3y = 7
Solution-: 3x+2y = 4  ...(i)
⇒ 3x = 4-2y
⇒ x = (4-2y)/3
Equation 3x+2y =4 ke liye table:
A
B
C
X
2
4
6
Y
-1
-4
-7
And 2x-3y = 7  ...(ii)
⇒ 2x = 7+3y
⇒ x = (7+3y)/2
Equation 2x-3y = 7 ke liye table:
D
E
F
X
2
5
8
Y
-1
1
3

Dono table ki help se graph banane par:
Linear equation in two variable graph
Graph me dono equation ki line ek-dusre ko point P(2,-1) par cut karte hai . Isliye solution of the linear equation is x = 2 and y = -1

  1. Understanding linear equations is essential for Class 10 students preparing for board exams. Chapter 3 of the New NCERT Maths Book explains concepts in a simple and structured way. In the middle of the exercise, Class 10 Ex 3.3 Q2 (iv) Pair of Pair of Linear Equation in Two Variables helps students practice solving equations using logical methods. This question strengthens conceptual understanding and boosts confidence. By solving NCERT-based problems regularly, students can improve accuracy, speed, and overall performance in Mathematics.
